General Summary

Maintain academic support to assigned student athletes in advising, registration and grade reports. Assist head coaches to manage and supervise all aspects of student-athletes.

Specific Position Duties

Assist head softball coach in daily management of the softball program including, but not limited to: recruiting team travel practice and competition preparation and supervision dormitory and cafeteria monitoring as needed Serve as academic mentor for student-athletes, including responsibilities for: monitoring academic progress with instructor conferences as needed advisement registration and degree plan compliance study session supervision coordination of tutoring Serve as instructor for physical education activity classes as assigned Assist with fund raising and promotions Other duties as assigned by the head softball coach and/or athletic director

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with experience in softball either through participation or coaching.
